  • Federal managers tell Congress budget cuts will hurt DOD's mission and federal workers

    Joe Davidson, Washington Post

In the Washington Post last Wednesday, March 6, Federal Managers Association (FMA) members spoke to Joe Davidson of "The Federal Diary" to discuss how the congressional budget cuts will harm the Defense Department mission.

“We’re absolutely sick and tired of the finger-pointing and being the pawns in the middle of this standoff,” Corpus Christi Army Depot manager Curtis Titus, also a 20-year Army veteran, told Davidson.

FMA National Vice President George J. Smith added that the furloughs associated with these budget cuts will "have a major impact on readiness."
