FMA Washington Report: May 11, 2020
FEEA Hardship Assistance Available for Feds
The Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) is the only independent, nonpro?t 501c3 organization devoted solely to providing emergency ?nancial assistance and scholarships to our dedicated civilian federal and postal public servants and their families. They are FMA’s official charity and our office mates!

During the coronavirus pandemic, FEEA is providing financial assistance to federal employees and their families with a variety of programs, including no-fee, no-interest hardship loans up to $1,000 for eligible federal employees; grant/loan combinations to other qualified applicants; and, bridge grants to spouses or children of federal employees who have passed away due to Covid-19, or feds who have lost a spouse or child due to the pandemic. Affected feds or family members should email FEEA at emergency@feea.org for more information.

Additionally, FEEA’s regular loan program is still available for those suffering from other serious illnesses and disasters. Please visit https://feea.org/our-programs/emergency-loans/coronavirus-loans/ for more information about FEEA programs.
