Lawmaker Sees Bipartisan Future for Pro-Fed Legislation, Including Big Pay Raise

Representative Stephen Lynch (D-MA) provided the keynote address at FMA's 78th National Convention and Management Training Seminar, speaking about many issues affecting federal managers across the government. He spoke favorably on behalf of a significant pay raise for federal employees, as well as work on bipartisan efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the federal government. He was celebrated as the lead sponsor in the House of Representatives of the Wounded Warriors Federal Leave Act, an initiative conceived by an FMA member, which was signed into law in November, 2015. Lynch is a strong supporter of the federal workforce and FMA is honored that he took the time to speak at our national convention.
