Carten Cordell, Senior Writer, Federal Times
The Senate, in a 65-33 vote, passed an $1.15 trillion budget plan Dec. 18 to fund the federal government, which now heads to President Obama’s desk to be signed into law. FMA President Patricia Niehaus thanked Congress for passing a budget. She pointed out the positive aspects of the agreement, and reminded Congress of the importance for them to do their job so that the rest of government can do theirs.
