Agency Outreach Get Involved At These Events! | FMA Washington Report: August 9, 2024 OMB Announces Progress on the President’s Management Agenda On July 31, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) shared a quarterly progress update on the President’s Management Agenda’s three core priorities. The President’s Management Agenda tracks progress toward improving a results-driven, accountable, and equitable federal government across the priorities of (1) Strengthening and Empowering the Federal Workforce, (2) Delivering Excellent, Equitable, and Secure Federal Services and Customer Experience, and (3) Managing the Business of Government. The OMB cited numerous highlights this quarter, including: • OPM initiatives to improve the federal hiring process, such as the Time to Hire (T2H) Dashboard on the OPM Data Portal. This dashboard is designed to provide the public with the average T2H for the federal government as well as the speed of hiring for the federal government’s mission critical occupations • The Trust in Major Government Service Providers dashboard, which shows which services meet their target trust benchmark, explores drivers of trust, and compares the trust measures between services within the same agency or service category. • The Procurement Co-Pilot application, which helps improve market research efficiency and quality by providing government-wide data. This tool assists agencies in making better, more cost-effective acquisition decisions by offering insights on product pricing, vendor search, and contract vehicle identification.
