• Obama to ‘Selfless’ Feds: I Appreciate You, Even if No One Else Does

  This week is Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW), a week dedicated each year to honor public servants across the government. To help celebrate PSRW, President Barack Obama issued a presidential proclamation lauding these employees for their dedication to their fellow Americans. This follows last week's action in the U.S. Senate, which unanimously approved a resolution (S. Res. 449) designating May 1-7, 2016, as PSRW and declaring it a time "to honor employees of the Federal Government and State and local governments and members of the uniformed services."
