  • Task force to align feds' performance with agency goals

    A National Council on Federal Labor-Management Relations task force is recommending that federal agencies make greater efforts to define priorities and expectations of employees in order to combat poor performance and promote better management. FMA's Government Affairs Director Jessica Klement, who is on the task force, commented, "You can write the best performance management system in the world but if you don't have an agency culture where managers are held accountable for their employees' performance, that system is going to fail."
