  • FMA AND GMC COLLEAGUES ADVOCATE FOR EMERGENCY LEAVE TRANSFER PROGRAM - September 18, 2020
  • FMA National President Craig Carter joined fellow presidents of the Government Managers Coalition (GMC) on a joint letter urging the establishment of an emergency leave transfer program (ELTP) to help relieve federal employees adversely affected by Covid-19. “Due to the ongoing management challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic presents for our workforce, the Government Managers Coalition believes the federal government would benefit from the establishment of an emergency leave transfer program (ELTP) both as a management tool and as a means by which to support our workforce,” the letter noted.

The GMC sent the letter to Michael Rigas, Acting Director of the Office of Personnel Management and Acting Deputy Director for Management at the Office of Management and Budget.
