Federal Managers Association

Press Release

  • FMA'S PATRICIA NIEHAUS ON "YOUR TURN WITH MIKE CAUSEY" TOMORROW AT 10:00 AM - January 29, 2013
  • Alexandria, VA - The Federal Managers Association's (FMA) National President, Patricia Niehaus, will appear on Your Turn with Mike Causey tomorrow - Wednesday, January 30, 2013. The show airs 10 - 11 am and the interview will focus on what the federal workforce will face in 2013, as well as the Association's upcoming 75th annual National Convention and Management Training Seminar and 100th Anniversary. The radio show will broadcast on WFED 1500 AM in the Washington, D.C. metro area, and nationwide on www.FederalNewsRadio.com.

Thus far, 2013 has shown lawmakers are still targeting federal employees as a source to ease deficit woes. Not even a month into the new year and FMA has already responded to legislation extending the federal pay freeze and reducing the size of the federal workforce. Niehaus will discuss FMA's response to these attacks, as well as the Association's legislative agenda.

Niehaus will also provide an overview of the Association's National Convention and Training Seminar, Raising the Bar: Innovative Approaches to Effective Management. The training seminar, taking place on Tuesday, March 5, is open to all managers and supervisors across the federal government and will feature five panels of experts on various topics relevant to managing today's federal workforce. The full agenda can be found at www.fedmanagers.org.

Your Turn airs Wednesdays from 10:00 - 11:00 am and can be heard on www.federalnewsradio.com or WFED 1500AM in the Washington, D.C. area. A recording of the show will be posted to both www.federalnewsradio.com and FMA's website: www.fedmanagers.org.
