FMA URGES CONGRESS TO AVERT A SHUTDOWN - January 19, 2018
We are currently hours away from the government running out of funding. FMA has urged Congress to avert a shutdown and also endorsed legislation that would provide back pay to any furloughed employee in the event of a shutdown.
This morning we spoke with representatives from the Office of Management and Budget and the Office of Personnel Management, who have begun the steps to prepare for a shutdown and provided us with guidance. Please reference this guidance by clicking here.
Be sure to check in with your leadership at your department or agency for specific information at your workplace.
