  • Alexandria, VA – On Friday, September 29, President Donald Trump revoked Executive Order 13522, as extended by Executive Order 13708, which established the National Council on Federal Labor-Management Relations. Federal Managers Association (FMA) National President Renee Johnson, a member of the council, made the following comments on its elimination:

"I was disappointed, but not surprised, to hear the Executive Order creating the National Council on Federal Labor-Management Relations was revoked. FMA had a seat on the Council on from its inception, and I was proud and honored to serve on it as FMA’s National President.

“The Council provided the chance to learn from others who have found success through labor-management discussions. Additionally, simply having the time together helped each of the organizations on the Council to better understand our colleagues and the challenges their departments and agencies face.”
