  • Limits on Feds' Bonuses and Leave Included in Senate’s New Government Reform Package

    By Eric Katz, Government Executive

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, announced plans to combine fifteen government reform bills the committee has approved into one large package, which has assurances to be considered by the full Senate. HSGAC Ranking Member Tom Carper (D-DE) said he was "very much interested" in the large legislative vehicle, but did not commit to supporting all of the measures it will include.
