A 2.7 Percent Raise for Feds?

FMA is on the record as supporting the Federal Adjustment of Income Rates Act (FAIR Act) introduced by Representative Gerry Connolly (D-VA) and Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI). This year’s version of the FAIR Act proposes a 3.2 percent raise for feds in FY 2022, including a 2.2 percent increase across-the-board, and an additional average increase to locality pay of 1 percent. President Biden has proposed a 2.7 percent raise for feds in FY 2022.
