• In an interview with Federal News Radio, FMA National Vice President George Smith commented on the unwarranted vitriol federal workers face and the importance of Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW). The majority of federal workers are dedicated employees who serve the American public daily and do not deserve the constant bashing they receive. PSRW provides necessary, positive attention for the federal workforce, as well as addressing how federal agencies can boost morale and improve recruitment and retention rates. Smith stated he is proud to be a federal employee, serving his fellow Americans.
