  • Happiness and productivity go hand-in-hand

    On the first day of the Federal Managers Association's (FMA) 74th annual National Convention and Management Training Seminar, Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) Chairman Carol Waller Pope spoke of the importance employee happiness as it relates directly to efficiency of carrying out missions and goals. Chairman Pope further spoke on how the FLRA declared 2010 "The Year of the Employee," but every year should be the year of the employee and it is important for agencies to remain engaged to not only their goals, but also their employees.
