• FEDERAL-POSTAL COALITION URGES SENATORS TO SUPPORT THE FAIR ACT - June 22, 2016

• On June 21, the Federal Managers Association (FMA), along with twenty two fellow organizations within the Federal-Postal Coalition, sent a letter to every member of the U.S. Senate, urging them to cosponsor the Federal Adjustment of Income Rates (FAIR) Act of 2016 (S. 2699). The legislation, sponsored by Sens. Brian Schatz (D-HI) and Ben Cardin (D-MD), would provide a 5.3% pay raise to federal employees in fiscal year 2017. Representative Gerry Connolly (D-VA) introduced identical legislation (H.R. 4585) in the House of Representatives.
