  • Mandatory Coverage of Autism Treatment Could Affect FEHBP Premiums

    All insurance carriers participating in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) will be required to cover a popular treatment for children on the autism spectrum beginning with the 2017 plan year. The Office of Personnel Management says premiums may rise, depending on insurance carriers' "estimates of the costs and likely utilization of the benefit."
