Spending Deal Keeps Feds, Troops on Track for 1.3 Percent Raise

Congress is scheduled to vote Friday, December 18, on a $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill to fund the rest of Fiscal Year 2016. The measure allows for the pay increase requested by President Obama. Additionally, the measure raises the public transit benefit to $255 per month, equal to the parking benefit. Further, the bill would also provide for ten years of identity theft protection for victims of the OPM data breaches.
