• White House, Agencies Begin Prepping for ‘Executing an Orderly Shutdown’

  Despite numerous pledges from congressional leaders there would be no lapse in funding the federal government, federal agencies are actively preparing to implement their shutdown plans. The current fiscal year ends one week from today. The Office of Management and Budget is working with agency leaders to prepare in the event that Congress is unable to fund fiscal year 2016 on time.
