• Harry Reid: Let's Not Wait Until the Last Minute to Avoid a Shutdown

  Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) called on his colleagues to work now to prevent the need for a last minute deal to avert another government shutdown. The House has passed six appropriations bills, while the Senate has not yet passed one. There are ten legislative days scheduled between now and the end of fiscal year 2015.
