  • Senate Panel Advances Feds’ Pay Raise in Bill That May Also Increase Perks for Hack Victims

    The 1.3 percent pay raise, proposed by President Barack Obama in his Fiscal Year 2016 budget request, remains on track. The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government stayed silent on the raise when it approved its Fiscal Year 2016 funding legislation yesterday. The House version also remains silent. If Congress does not insert language blocking the raise, the president's proposed pay raise will take effect.
