• IRS May Offer Hope to Feds Affected by OPM Hack

  Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) expressed concern about fraudulent tax returns submitted by scammers using federal employees' personal information garnered by the OPM data breach. In a letter to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Commissioner John Koskinen, Sen. Warner urged the IRS to take steps to protect federal employees from further damage related to their tax returns.
