    After weeks of debate, the House and Senate finally agreed to a budget for fiscal year 2016. Original proposals from both chambers saw drastic cuts to the federal workforce in the forms of attrition and cuts to benefits. Luckily, the finalized budget does not include these cuts, but the Federal Managers Association (FMA) still has concerns that federal employees will be a target for deficit reduction in the future. FMA commented, "If Congress and the Administration continue to view the federal budget and federal pay and benefits as a piggy bank, it will do nothing to create a sustainable federal government. These attacks do nothing but erode morale, and take away from the ability to recruit and retain a capable workforce."
