  • Administration reinstates awards for top civil servants

    Office of Personnel Management Director Katherine Archuleta released a memo to all federal departments and agencies that the Presidential Rank Awards will be reinstated this year. These awards recognize members of the Senior Executive Service and senior career employees who show strong leadership and promote excellence within public service. Last year, awards were not given due to the sequester and limited budgets. Nominations are due June 5 and must be from agency heads.
