On October 1, 2013, In Depth with Francis Rose hosted Federal Managers Association (FMA) Director of Government Affairs Greg Stanford to discuss FMA's perspective on the first day of the federal government shutdown. They discussed the negative impacts the shutdown will have on all federal managers, their families, and the American public. Stanford shared messages relayed directly from FMA members and talked about FMA's efforts to urge Congress to act swiftly to end the lapse in federal appropriations.
