• FMA'S KLEMENT ON CUTS FACING FEDS

• 'Vitriol' toward feds is undeserved

  Federal Managers Association (FMA) Government Affairs Director Jessica Klement was interviewed on "Your Turn with Mike Causey" on December 14 to discuss the animosity that federal employees have been receiving over the past two years. Blaming federal workers for the nation's fiscal woes has lead to numerous pieces of legislation calling for the extension of the federal pay freeze, changes to retirement systems, and reductions in workforce.

  "There is vitriol toward federal employees that I can't seem to understand," Klement said. In a recent statement, FMA National President Patricia Niehaus also expressed her dismay towards Members of Congress who are calling for further sacrifices from federal employees.
