- Jessie Bur, FederalTimesFederal employees’ biggest obstacle to seeing a bump to their salaries in 2020 appears to have been lifted, as the White House announced Aug. 30 that it intended to reverse the planned pay freeze for feds and instead institute a 2.6 percent across the board increase.“As noted in my Budget for Fiscal Year 2020, our pay system must reform to align with mission-critical recruitment and retention goals, and to reward employees whose performance provides value for the American people,” Trump wrote in a letter to the Speaker of the House.The full article can be read here.
