EPA trims furloughs by three days

In a memo to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) employees, Acting Administrator Bob Perciasepe announced between June 16 through September 30, only twenty-three furlough hours will be necessary. EPA employees will already take thirty-two hours of unpaid leave between April 21 and June 15, but through reviewing financial resources and priorities, EPA leaders were able to reduce the number of furlough days.
