  Federal Managers Association member Dr. Raymond Marbury spoke with Federal Times on the impending retirement tsunami and lack of succession planning within the federal government. by 2016, almost 760,000 federal employees will be eligible for retirement, yet many agencies have not addressed how they will confront this human capital gap and loss of institutional knowledge. Dr. Marbury argues the necessity to address this deficiency in order to ensure the federal government's ability to meet missions and goals.
