On August 24, members of the Federal-Postal Coalition, of which the Federal Managers Association is a member, were heard on FEDTalk, discussing the problems of proposed increases to retirement contributions, an extension of the federal pay freeze, and the denigration of the federal workforce. Members of the Coalition also mentioned the importance of the America Counts on Us campaign. The campaign brings raises awareness of the value of the federal workforce throughout the country. America Counts on Us, a nonpartisan campaign, is targeting specific Senate and House races to ensure the 113th Congress is fed friendly.
