• Defending feds is part of a Virginia senator’s job description, Kaine says

  In an event hosted by the Federal-Postal Coalition, Senate candidate Tim Kaine commented on the importance of the federal workforce to Virginia's economy and their importance on daily life. The former Virginia governor also commented on the bashing federal employees constantly receive and how it undermines the federal government as a whole. During the forum, Kaine commented he would take a balance approach to managing the federal budget, using cuts and revenues to control spending.
