- FMA URGES CONGRESS TO AVERT A SHUTDOWN - January 19, 2018
- We are currently hours away from the government running out of funding. FMA has urged Congress to avert a shutdown and also endorsed legislation that would provide back pay to any furloughed employee in the event of a shutdown.This morning we spoke with representatives from the Office of Management and Budget and the Office of Personnel Management, who have begun the steps to prepare for a shutdown and provided us with guidance.
